We require that each mom who joins our group agrees with our statement of faith. Each mom must profess salvation through faith in Christ. Salvation is a free gift from God for all who repent and turn from his or her sins and accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. We believe that you cannot earn your salvation and you cannot lose your salvation if you are truly born again. John 6:39, Hebrews 7:25, John 3:36, Romans 6:23, John 10:28 -29, Ephesians 2: 8-9
We believe Jesus is the one eternal God who is the Creator of all things. We believe Jesus Christ is the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
We believe that Jesus Christ was born of a virgin and that He was crucified and died in order that we may be forgiven of all of our sins and be able to be in right relationship with God. He was buried and rose again from the dead in three days to prove victory over death and to empower us in life.
We believe in the salvation of sinners through grace and faith. Salvation is a gift from God, not a result of our good works or of any human effort. We receive forgiveness of our sins when we repent of our sins, believe in Jesus Christ, and confess that He is our Lord and Savior.
We believe the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, given at Pentecost, is the promise of the Father to all believers. The Holy Spirit endows each believer with power to serve God wholeheartedly and to serve others. The Holy Spirit manifests Himself through the believer in spiritual gifts which are used in order to build and sanctify the Church. The gifts of the Holy Spirit are to be in operation according to Biblical parameters.
We believe that God has equipped each of us so that we can successfully achieve God's purpose for our lives which is to worship God, find and fulfill our role in the Church, serve the community in which we live, and to tell others the saving gospel of Jesus Christ.
